Did you know that you don’t need equipment to get a great full body workout? I mean a so sore feeling that it hurts to sit down. Or walk. Or lift your hands above your head. Or do anything. And that is exactly how I feel today after Saturday’s Body Weight Training by Neta. Woah! I wasn’t expecting to feel sore for days, but two days later and every time I stood, or sat, or moved, I was reminded again and again of the awesome full body workout.
The training was from 8am-1pm, and about two hours of that time we were working out. But man, it was a ton of fun. The trainer, Angie, was so delightful and quite the motivator! I honestly thought this training was going to include planks, push ups, squats, lunges and the many variations of those exercises, but wow! It was so much more than that and I certainly wasn’t expecting to burn over 1000 calories. In fact, before this training, I can’t tell you the last time I did crab walks, or bear climbs. But I can bet it hasn’t been since phsyical education class in elementary school. There’s so much you can do with your body and ways to push yourself without needing equipment, yet still burning an insane amount of calories.
