One of my favorite flavor combinations is blue cheese and buffalo sauce. It all started back at the Valley View Pub in West Milford, NJ. My husband and I would get the Buffalo Bleu Burger. Before we met, I was not into spicy food and he hated blue cheese. Strange that we would agree to share a buffalo bleu cheese burger, no? And it was love at first bite. Since that day, it’s been one of our favorite combos.
However, with losing weight and eating less processed foods, our consumption of buffalo sauce and blue cheese has been minimal. VERY minimal. Until just last week! I was searching Pinterest for some new recipe ideas and came across an article in Fitness Magazine and they had a Buffalo Chicken Salad. And that’s when I decided I was going to tackle it.
And it was absolutely delicious. It hit the spot and I was really sad when I reached my last bite of salad. This is definitely going into the regular rotation of salads.
